ok so much happened! after I got in contact with some of the other voluntairs I found out that many have already their project. So I got all worried that noone wants me lol. I wrote to finland to ask if they can tell me how long I have to wait until I know my project. already the next day I had an email back! I was at work and soooooo curious but also afraid to open it… somehow I was sure she would write me about my project. until that moment I could still dream about my project… I can imagine it me in any way I like… and that will be over now. because its for sure. so I opened it :P and… “I am now 99,5% sure that I have a project and a host family for you.” I was so happy! until I could read the whole mail I had to open it like 4 times because always came someone from work. I will spend my year in Pohjanmaa, somewhere near Seinäjoki. I don’t know the exact place yet. but it’s a school for diabled and free time activities. I will live with a family, they are teachers at the school. im soo so happy =) the 99.5 % is because my host family is on holidays and when they are back they will have a final call with sinikka. and then she will send me all the details. I cant wait to contact them and tell them how happy and thankful I am hehe =) 2 other voluntairs will be in my “near” 60-70 km.

its so hard to describe how I felt in that moment. its such a wonderful feeling. there is a school that picked me because they thought I could be useful and a family that wants me to live with them a year for free. a wonderful feeling. Im just so curious and cant wait until I know all the details.

what else? I got some insurance things but have some questions about it. then I got everything that I need for the residence permit. but I have to do that in finland… whe I hope someone who can finnish will come with me lol. and a lot of other stuff from finland hehe maps and travel books. Im still running around with the map to show around where I will be. im also really curious how this with my “visitors” will be. my aunt and her family wants to come already in autumn. I told my cousine I will go with her to rovaniemi. and my parents with sister and brother and other aunts and everything want to come in spring. my grandparents will stay 1 day in helsinki when they stop there on a cruise. they did choose that cruise just to visite me lol. but that’s the only thing that is for sure. I think they just talk to much and in the end will only my mother come visite me. that’s ok. im afraid anyway that when they come that I will get bad bad homesick. I will see…

and what doesn’t have anything to do with finland but what has to be said: today I finished all my LAP tests! now I can only wait for the results and hope…

maybe I will meet tiina and her brother this weekend. tiina was very nice and searched for me links to seinäjoki and said that she doesn’t live far from there and that we can meet there. I will bake pulla if I will meet her on saturday hehe.
